Yacht delivery & relocation

Frequently asked questions

Published answers about working with Aegean Horizon.

What types and sizes of yacht do you accept?

We accept sailing yachts, catamarans and motor yachts from 29 to 79 ft, subject to an initial vessel and route assessment.

Which regions do you serve?

We plan deliveries across Mediterranean, Aegean and eligible Black Sea routes. Türkiye, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, France and Spain are current focus countries. Russia and Ukraine are currently excluded.

Can the owner join the passage?

Owners may join the passage by prior agreement, subject to the yacht, route and insurance arrangements.

What pricing guidance is available?

Published starting guidance is €3.50/NM for 29–45 ft, €4.50/NM for over 45–60 ft and €7.00/NM for over 60–79 ft, with a €550 minimum fee. A fixed quotation follows assessment.

How is a fixed quotation prepared?

Share the yacht, route and timing through the initial assessment form. The team reviews the vessel, route, crew, preparation, documentation and insurance arrangements. A fixed quotation is prepared after that assessment.

Which voyage expenses are paid separately?

Travel to the yacht and return to agreed home locations, economy transport and required baggage, accommodation, food and provisions, fuel and consumables, marina and port fees, repairs and spare parts, customs, agency and local services, and applicable taxes are paid separately at actual cost.

How do timing and weather affect a delivery?

An arrival date is not guaranteed. Ordinary weather-related changes to passage duration do not increase the accepted professional fee. Exceptional delays are handled under the final agreement, and safety decisions remain with the skipper.

What must the owner confirm about insurance?

Before departure, the yacht owner must confirm that the appointed skipper, crew, route and intended delivery are accepted under the vessel’s insurance policy.

What information is needed for an initial assessment?

We ask for contact details, customer type, preferred communication language, yacht type and particulars, insurance and operational status, known issues, current and destination ports and countries, timing, owner-participation and crew preferences, and any additional requirements. No documents or photographs are requested at this stage.

When will I receive a response?

A member of our team will respond within 24 hours.
